on being recognized for the following accomplishments. We are proud of and thankful for all that you do!.

STUDENTS

Logan C. (West Running Brook Middle School) - Logan has started his own charity, LMC Charities. Logan engaged local businesses and social media platforms to collect close to 120 sweatshirts based on a need he saw in his local community. After, he donated these items to the Derry School District and Windham Helping Hands. Thanks for taking the initiative, Logan, and paying close attention to the needs you see around you. And most importantly, many thanks for serving as an example for all of us.

Anthony H. (West Running Brook Middle School) - Anthony presented his school project on styrofoam to the food services department with a recommendation to limit its use in the cafeteria. Mr. Blake Leister serves the students at WRB in many capacities - chorus teacher, team leader, select choir advisor, and drama club co-director. Mr. Leister also pursues his passion for music and the arts outside of the school setting, often performing with professional organizations, and these pursuits are a direct benefit for the students at WRB. This spring, Mr. Leister was awarded the Choral Director of the Year by the NH American Choral Director’s Association. Congrats, Mr. Leister. You are an asset to the Derry community.

The WRB athletic department received a supercharged accolade from Tri-County Athletics, the organization that operates all of the competitive athletics for WRB with other middle schools in the region. Based on the spring (2018), fall (2018), and winter (2019) sport seasons, WRB received the Division II School Sportsmanship Award. Athletic Directors, players, and coaches from across the region voted to recognize WRB athletes and coaches for the way they played their games. We are indeed proud of our kids and the adults who stepped up to serve as their coaches. Keep being a model for how to be competitive in the right ways!
